Alchemia amethyst and mother of pearl double pendant necklace

Amethyst is crystalline quartz that is primarily found in shades of light violet to deep purple. Its purple color has kept it a favorite adornment among royalty for thousands of years. It can occur as single crystals, but also forms as clustered druzy crystals. Amethyst is a natural tranquilizer; it calms the wearer and blocks negative energy and stress. Mother of pearl is the iridescent inner layer (nacre) of someshells. If an irritant (such as sand or a parasite) gets inside of the shell, the organism defends its soft tissues by layering the nacre over this debris; this is how pearls are formed.
